role=\"region\" aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-2101\"><p>The Joachim Herz Foundation offers support to up to 80 scientists from the fields of business administration, economics, life sciences and materials science who are working on interdisciplinary research projects in the field of \u201cResources of the Future\u201d and are motivated to further develop the transfer potential of their research.<\/p><p>The funding is aimed at researchers in the early stages of their careers &#8211; including doctoral students, postdocs and junior professors &#8211; working on interdisciplinary research topics of social relevance in the field of \u201cResources of the Future\u201d. Depending on the discipline, this connection can be established in different ways. It is important that the projects already show transfer potential, even if concrete transfer goals are not yet or only slightly developed. In addition, researchers must be employed at a university or non-profit research institution in Germany at the time of application or their research must be otherwise funded there.<\/p><p>Fellows receive funding of up to 15,000 euros for two years. The funding can be used flexibly, e.g. for travel costs and participation fees for research stays, conference visits, further training or other research-related events (including fellowship meetings), for the acquisition of special aids (e.g. hardware or software), data acquisition or collection, for measures to further develop the transfer potential, or for organizing scientific conferences and for activities in science communication.<\/p><p>Successful applicants can also apply for additional funding of up to 3,000 euros for equal opportunities. They are aimed at researchers who are curious, interdisciplinary, and open to thinking beyond traditional boundaries.<\/p><p><b>Flexible funding:<\/b> Up to \u20ac12,000 for research, networking, further training, conference participation, and more.
